• KEEP THE “SECOND SKIN” BANDAGE ON FOR 2-3 DAYS

• WHEN REMOVING THE SECOND SKIN, TAKE IT OFF IN THE SHOWER UNDER WARM WATER

• WASH WITH FRAGRANCE FREE SOAP

• AIR DRY FOR A FEW MINUTES

• MOISTURIZE WTH A THIN LAYER OF UNSCENTED LOTION

• WASH & MOISTURIZE TWICE DAILY OR AS NEEDED

• NO PICKING, SCRATCHING, SWIMMING, OR DIRECT SUN EXPOSURE FOR THE FIRST 3 WEEKS.

The products I recommend getting for aftercare are Dial Soap - Gold, and Aveeno (or your preferred unscented lotion IS).

This is a super basic rundown of what I recommend for aftercare, everyone’s skin, and even the type of tattoo you’re getting, will thrive with slightly different care. If you have any additional questions please ask at our appointment, or send me an email.

If you have particularly sensitive skin, allergies to adhesive or latex, or you just don’t like second skin, we won’t use it. I’ll just wrap your tattoo in regular plastic wrap and you can remove the wrap after about 2 hours, then start the washing & moisturizing process like normaL.
